Agricultural drainage

The term 'Agricultural drainage' as it applies to the area of reclamation can be defined as ' The process of directing excess water away from root zones by natural or artificial means, such as by using a system of pipes and drains placed below ground surface level (also called subsurface drainage). The water drained away from irrigated farmland'.
